I really got into Live's first album "Mental Jewelry". It featured the songs "Pain Lies On The Riverside" and "The Beauty of Grey". It was before "Throwing Copper" their first really big album. I just couldn't equate "Throwing Copper" with the band, or the songs, I had loved on "Mental Jewelry". It took me a long time to appreciate them for what they were doing - I eventually had to view them as a completely different band to the "Mental Jewelry" band. Does that make sense?
