Would a 40w Flourescent light ballast be suitable to overdrive a 30w T8 tube?

I guess you could match it with a 40 Watt tube, but the fixture is most likely not rated for it. Either way I'm sure you could find a fixture that is the same size with t5 bulbs that will blow away your dinosaur. :D
