What kind of guitar should I get?

Well I like to play music in drop C alot, but I also like to play standard tuning. I mostly play metal and also other stuff like sublime, jimi hendrix, santana etc.. I would really like something with a whammy bar, cuz I really like the crazy drone\feedback noise that hendrix made in some of his songs. Any suggestions?
