What are some make-up essentials for a high schooler?

If you really want to wear makeup, I would say to keep it simple: blush, mascara, chapstick, and a little bit of eyeliner. Personally, I like liquid eyeliner whenever I wear makeup. You can experiment with very thin lines to have a natural look, or a cateye for a pretty, pulled-together look. Youtube has some WONDERFUL makeup gurus who can show you how to do everything (:
