Is this cheating, adultery or what?

My wife is corresponding with her ex who is incarcerated in prison. She refuses to tell me the details of their letters and she even got a p.o. box to prevent me from intercepting his letters. I'm not stupid, but is this cheating? Adultery? Or what?
