Did dinosaurs sustain the other animals on the ark with protein until the balance of prey/predator populations?

Not sure what you meant by "sustain". I ume you mean for food. But if you read Genesis carefully, you will discover that animals and man did not eat meat until after they got off ark. Everybody was a vegetarian before.
