I have a older Suzuki king quad it ideals fine but when i take off it spits and sputters and has no power?

the quad ran fine when i parked it a month ago i took it up and put gas in it unloaded it and started it it idealed fine then went to take off and i fell on its face then had a bad sputter and no power don't know what wrong with it please help
