In South Carolina, if parents are divorced, one has sole custody over their only child and that child dies...?

If the child has a will it is distributed in accordance with. That's uming the child has ets to distribute! I don't think a child under 18 can own ets in their own right, it would have to be a trust arrangement. But normally if you die and don't have a will, where you live will have a law that determines who get what. It would normally be the parents and I would ume 50/50 divorced or not divorced.
