Why does neither party care about the poor?

People are poor because they CHOOSE to be. I resent the fact that my husband and I bust our arses and some people just sit on THEIR arses. And before I get attacked...I'm not talking about working people who have hardships. Those are the ones that I don't mind helping and the ones who are REALLY disabled.
