I want to impress a mother inlaw to be. What would be best ?

I am engaged to a Cambodian lady. I am attempting to find a gift that will help her mother feel less concern & more trust in me, The son in -law to be. The whole family, all female. Mom, oldest daughter & youngest daughter. Live in Phenom phen Cambodia. The mother was married to a European gent that was 20 + years her senior. She too has told her daughter that she should marry the same. Ta Dah. That would be me. I won't be able join my fiance in her land & meet her family in person. So I wish to do what ever I can to give myself as much of an advantage as possible. Please Help Me!
